Punta de Fabian Resort

Do you want to de-stress and relax and steal some time for yourself but you neither have ample time nor enough way to lose the sight of the busy Metro Manila because you dread that you ended up losing your precious job if you pass by the border lines? You cannot travel a hundred miles, you cannot go beyond two boundaries away, you cannot go far. But you really have to breath (I am referring to clean and fresh air); where will you go? I will give you another reason to enjoy living your life. Take this as a little favor from me. I will take you away from the busy and noisy, and dirty, and overly populated Metro Manila and take you in a wonderful playground up the hill.

A resort resting at the mountaintop of Barangay Evangelista, Baras, Rizal offers a magnificent view of Manila de Bay – Punta de Fabian. This is one of Rizal’s premier resorts perfect for team buildings, meetings, group activities and conferences. This resort is located east of Metro Manila 1 ½ hour drive away; a quite place where you can find fun and relaxation in an exclusive and sophisticated yet a welcoming atmosphere.

The three-hectare resort was specially built for groups of people who want to unwind and take a break from their busy careers. Decorated in Filipino-zen style, the hilltop resort offers a wide selection of recreational facilities such as basketball/volleyball/badminton court, lagoon shaped swimming pool and Jacuzzi harmonizes with the view of Laguna de Bay, white sand children’s playground, maze, leisure room with billiards, table tennis, darts board games, and videoke. Function rooms were designed with large window glasses which provide fantastic view of the scenic Laguna de Bay.

No wonder my company chose this place for the celebration of “Best of the Best” – an event wherein my company recognizes the effort of their best employees and mollycoddle them for a day of fun, foods, massage, party etc.

What I like About the Place

The scenic view deck and their rooms! Some of my friends opted to just stay at their rooms and I can’t blame them. Punta de Fabian’s rooms are stuffed with big and really soft pillows with hypoallergenic fibers, bigger sized beds, cable TVs and Wi-Fi. Various room types to choose from are - standard, deluxe, loft room, suite, junior suite, family loft, and honeymoon suite. The private sitting rooms where anyone can enjoy the beautiful view are perfect for a morning coffee or evening dinner date – it’s indeed a very romantic place!

My two-cents Worth of Thought

Punta de Fabian needs a better signage. The only indication of the place existence is the lame letter ‘f’ which isn’t even obvious.  Finding this place especially at night is really a challenge.

By the way, the place is a little expensive.
