Kabigan Falls

the initial sight of Kabigan Falls after the 30-minute trek
One of the wonders of Pagudpud Ilocos Norte is the 80ft  Kabigan Waterfalls. This beautiful and enchanting waterfalls is located at the eastern part of Barangay Balaoi about 1.5km away from the national road. The term “kabigan” was derived from the word “kaibigan” or “magkaibigan” which means friend or friendship in English.

From the entrance you can secure guide for Php100 (4 persons) plus a Php20 (per person) entrance fee. You will then have to trek for about 30-45 minutes passing through farmlands, streams, and forested area to the falls. Do not worry, because the luscious sight and the comforting sound of nature is enough to compensate the long and tiring walk.

When you reach Kabigan Falls, you will be awed by its famous concave basin where you can reward yourself with a very refreshing dip.
